Description

The Kitzbuhel Alps in Austria are a wonderful mountain range, full of beautiful peaks. There are also beautiful areas for skiing, particularly freeride skiing. And on this trip, the focus will be on freeride, or  off-piste skiing. Another highlight of this trip is that you will also get to enjoy a ride in a snowcat!

The trip will begin in Kitzbuhel. From there we will take a chairlift. And after that, to reach the top of the range, we will travel by snowcat, which makes for an exciting trip all on its own! However, on this trip, the snowcat trip is just the beginning because once we reach the top, you will then get to enjoy a fantastic descent. The descent is long and unbelievably fun and goes all the way down to the resort town of Fieberbrunn.

Fieberbrunn is famous for its snowboarding and other winter sporting events. And after completing the freeride skiing descent, it will not be difficult to see why it is so famous. From Fieberbrunn, you will then take a taxi back to Kitzbuhel.

This trip is not exclusively for experts. However, some previous off-piste skiing experience would be to your advantage, and you should be physically fit as well because the descent is a long one. But if you fit that criteria, the entire experience of the day, from the chair lift and the snowcat, to the incredible views of the Kitzbuhel Alps to the freeride skiing itself will be more than worth it.

If that adventure sounds like one you would like to experience, just send me a request, and I will be more than happy to guide you.

I can also guide you on a ski touring adventure in the Kitzbuhel Alps as well.

Mathias was excellent. He brought us to good snow even in a low snow week. He was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. Next time we bring skins!

My guide ended up being a local snowboard guide named Peter. It was excellent. Lovely guy, we got to ride some powder as well as practice searching with the avalanche rescue equipment. All round good day. Would highly recommend
