Kayaking along the North Shore of Lake Tahoe (Half-day)

Lake Tahoe is a gorgeous alpine lake that is amazing no matter what part of it you are exploring. Hence why this half-day kayaking trip on the lake’s North Shore is a real treat for people who love paddling through lovely water amidst sensational scenery.

Our trip will begin with a brief introductory lesson. After that, we will head out onto the water, where you will get to kayak for approximately 4 hours, covering a distance ranging from 3 to 6 miles, depending on how fast you wish to paddle. Throughout your journey, you will get to see the best of Lake Tahoe. You will get to see extensive natural landscape along the shoreline, as well as the amazing Sierra Nevada Mountains. Other wonderful highlights you will get to enjoy during this trip include Crystal Bay, Carnelian Bay and King’s Beach.

We will provide everything you need for this trip, including a kayak, paddle and life jacket. Meanwhile, our guides will give you not only great guidance, but provide you with information about Lake Tahoe’s history, both natural and human.

This is an easy trip to enjoy. No experience is necessary. However, participants should know how to swim.
