Description

Kamchatka is a remote, beautiful place on earth, with a very interesting landscape. Volcanoes and mountain ranges provide excellent conditions for ski tours and heli-skiing programs. On this Kamchatka ski touring week, I will take you to explore some of its top spots.

Skiing down from volcanoes and enjoying views of the Pacific Ocean on your descents will be an unforgettable awe-inspiring experience.  You will have the chance to enjoy the pristine nature of Kamchatka, swim in thermal springs, and finish off the day with a treat of red caviar and redfish. Below, you can find a tentative itinerary.

Keep in mind that good physical shape is a must for climbing volcanoes. Additionally, to join this trip, you will need a good level of off-piste skiing, and experience with climbing equipment including crampons, ice ax, rope, harness, etc. If you have any doubts about your level, please make sure to inquire. I will at all times be looking out for your safety.

Mountain Guide

Mountains and work in the mountains are major part of my life. I am an IFMGA mountain guide as well as a member of the Kyrgyzstan Mountain Guides Association (KMGA). I started my career in 2006 and it was a logical extension of my mountaineering activities. I organize ascents, ski-touring and free ride programs for my clients in the Caucasus
(including Krasnaya Polyana), Pamir, Tien-Shan, Siberia, Ural, Kola Peninsula. I have climbing experience in the Alps, Alaska and the Chinese Pamirs.

I am a certified mountain rescuer. My priorities are the client's safety along with the success of the ascent.
