Full Day Backcountry Ski Touring in Wasatch, Utah

The Wasatch Mountains feature 986 kilometres of slopes, perfect for winter sports. During this classic introductory tour, you will acquire the skills you need to enjoy the ultimate one day skiing adventure! 

Stretching over 160 miles from the northern border with Idaho to Central Utah, the Wasatch Mountains present some of the best skiing opportunities in the United States. Furthermore, this is the perfect setting for beginners. Our one-day expeditions to these beautiful mountains are perfect to explore these mountains as you learn the basics of backcountry skiing.

This tour will take place in either Little or Big Cottonwood Canyons depending on the weather conditions and where the best skiing can be found on the day of the excursion. This introductory class will last 6 hours approximately and during this time, we’ll focus on skinning techniques as well as on the proper use of equipment.
