Description

Vermont is a great location for skiing in the winter months, and Stowe is one of the best spots for the sport. Going off-piste or backcountry skiing is a great way to ski and explore the all natural surroundings**. Our intro to backcountry skiing in Stowe is perfect for adventurers and nature lovers that want to take their skiing out of the usual boundaries and into the wild!**

This intro to backcountry skiing is two hours long. During the two hours, we will cover some basic backcountry techniques and then put them to practice in some of the gorgeous Ranch Valley landscapes. These include forests and rugged slopes. Consequently, we will be able to combine the two aspects of this sport: skiing skills and discovery of natural environments!

Ideally, although backcountry experience is not necessary, we do require some prior skiing knowledge and experience. However, we will be there every step of the way to guide you and ensure your safety. Also, we will cover specific techniques that will make the excursion educational as well as enjoyable. We will also focus on building your confidence and familiarity dealing with unknown terrain.

Are you looking to take your skiing to the next level? Would you like to try some off-piste fun? Then book your place now and join us on this short intro to backcountry skiing in Stowe. We will be happy to share our skills and show you the stunning landscapes in the region!
