Initiation rock climbing course in Malaga

Sing up for this amazing rock climbing training trip in Malaga! We will spend an entire day learning and putting into practice all there is to know about this fascinating sport.

The training will be carried out at the base of Monte Humar. This is the perfect location to take your first steps in this activity.

Throughout the day we will learn about rock climbing safety principles and maneuvers. And, most importantly, the basic techniques.

Our guides will teach you –in the most practical way- the correct use of the material, and how to rope yourself and secure you partner.

In addition, the right way to descend safely and to give the accurate roped team commands.

And, last but not least, to ascend the rock vertically until reaching paths of moderate difficulty (up to grade V+).

The whole course will be held in a rock climbing area of Malaga, the Valle de Abdalajis. This means that we will be in contact with the rock as from the first moment.

You will immediately start climbing and practicing with the other members of the group. In this way, you will be more autonomous and you will start gaining confidence in your climbing abilities.

The duration of the course is 8 hours (a whole day), for you to make the most of it.

And the organizers will provide you with all the material, including the special climbing shoes.
