Are you looking for a nice way to warm up before a rock climbing adventure? During this 1-day workshop in Grands-Malades we will focus on reviewing all the climbing techniques necessary to be safe and enjoy lead climbing in single-pitch routes.
To join this group program you need to have prior rock climbing experience. In particular, you must have practiced lead climbing in single-pitch routes before. It will be a full day dedicated to improve your skills and review climbing techniques.
We will be in the beautiful natural setting of Grands-Malades, near Namur, Wallonia. This is a great region in Belgium for rock climbing, and very conveniently located. We will meet at 10AM and spend the full day practicing until 5PM.
I will take up to 6 people with me to ensure everyone gets enough opportunities to review their personal doubts. During the day we will cover safety techniques for the climber and the belayer, top-roping techniques, how to abseil down with a belay… And we can add more things you might be interested in practicing.
If you are planning a challenging rock climbing trip, I highly recommend taking the time to review climbing and safety techniques. To join this workshop, simply send me a request!
I also offer a 2-day self-rescue techniques for rock climbing course in Grands-Malades which you can check out here.

Jerald
It was our first time outdoor bouldering and Ivan was extremely friendly and prioritized safety. He also helped guide us through the different routes and outdoor bouldering techniques.

My teenage son and I spent two afternoons in April bouldering with our guide, Leo, in Fontainebleau. Leo was an excellent guide and teacher. He selected boulders that were both challenging and within our skill level. Leo also share fun information about the area we were bouldering in and gave helpful information to make sure we got to the right place at the right time. We highly recommend Leo and would gladly do another bouldering excursion with him.
Claudia
I was in Paris for a few days and really wanted to try bouldering at Fontainebleau, but since it was my first time and I didn’t have any friends to go with, I wasn’t sure how to make it happen. A quick Google search led me to Explore Share, and even before I booked anything, they were super responsive and helpful with all my questions. On the day itself, my guide Ivan was amazing—he helped me read the routes, build trust in the footholds, figure out the beta, and even showed me how to downclimb safely. Overall, a fantastic experience and I’m so glad I went for it!
Robbie
Leo was great! He was very knowledgeable about Fontainebleau climbing and history. We only had a half day in the area and were able to cram in way more climbing because of his knowledge and expertise. Highly recommended!
