Kuna Pavol, certified mountain guide and expert climber, encourages you to go with him to a climbing trip to the Ice Peaks of a region he knows very well: High Tatras
Tatras
1 Day
Jun - Oct
Come with me to this fascinating climbing trip in the discovery of the High Tatras mountains! We will spend time together while enjoying the insides of this wonderful natural European landscape.
These mountains are part of the range of the Tatra Mountains chain. Their location is in the border between Slovakia and Poland, in Europe.
We will start seeing the outputs by going to Tery Cottage at 2015 meters. This descends into the ice ridge.
After that, you will get the chance of climbing easy passages on our way to the summit. This is a classic short trail.
Once we reach the peak you will receive the best reward! The great Polish Tatras Javorová valley with Maple massif towers Gerlach, Lomnicky peak of Belianske Tatras will be there for you to admire.
These peaks are all located in the East and Northern Tatras from Poland.
Finally, we will start our way back by descending along the route. This part of the High Tatras could be slightly more difficult for climbing.
Each guided group will have 3 people maximum. In this way, I can make sure your excursion and ascent to be personalised as well as extremely safe.
Don’t let your little climbing experience be a deterrent! Of course you must have some experience in mountaineering, but in general the tracks are going to be from easy to medium demanding. (I-II UIAA).
Come on and join me and I guarantee you it will turn into the climbing experience of your life. Every second will be an adventure. I’ll be waiting for your contact. It will be a great pleasure to accompany you through this especially courageous adventure to climb the Ice Peaks in High Tatras.

Mountain Guide
I was born in Poprad and I live, work and relax in the High Tatras. I have been climbing in this region for 15 years both in summer and winter.
Since 2001 I am a professional rescuer with a completed Bachelor education in Urgent Medical Care. Furthermore, I work in The Experts Mountain Rescue Service (in High Tatras) as an avalanche specialist.
In 2009, after passing the entrance examination for mountain guiding, I started the roundabout course. In April 2010, I became a mountain guide aspirant in the National Association of Mountain Guides of the Slovak Republic.
In 2011, during the final course in Chamonix - Mont Blanc (France) I successfully completed the course of mountain guide during four days of tests, under the strict supervision of Technical Commission NAHVSR instructors. Since then, I am a mountain guide with the IFMGA / UIAGM international license.
Thanks to this job (and hobby) I am pleased to expand the horizons of my clients and share with them my knowledge and experience as a mountain guide.
