Drop down into the sublime Southern Alps of New Zealand via a thrilling helicopter ride that presents wonderful panoramas of the frozen wonderland.
Then we will get to grips with the great Franz Josef Glacier, a 12-kilometre maritime glacier located within the Westland Tai Poutini National Park.
This stunning slice of New Zealand is part of the larger Te Wahipounamu, a World Heritage Site that features stunning natural scenery and prominent peaks.
The Franz Josef Glacier is a steep and rugged glacier located in the Southern Alps, that begins at 240 meters above sea level and peaks at 2,700 meters.
Using our axes and crampons, we will navigate the great ice sheet on a 4-hour adventure.
