Join me on this fun and exciting daylong ice climbing adventure where we will teach you the safest and best ice climbing techniques, climb amongst some of the most thrilling landscapes imaginable (including frozen waterfalls!) and take in some truly special and unique views of the abundant gorgeous scenery and terrain, all in the delightful Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.
Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and approximately 300km from the city of Edmonton, Jasper National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned throughout Canada and the world as a veritable outdoor activity wonderland, with perfect conditions for winter activities.
Our three main options for climbing are the brilliant Maligne Canyon, Tangle Falls and Edge of the World. These lovely and exquisite locales are excellent for ice climbing, as the crowds are minimal due to them being in relatively isolated parts of the park, and the ice walls and waterfalls available cater to all levels of ability, from beginner to expert.
The views we will be exposed to are truly breath-taking, as you will see the national park in all its glory, with the snow-capped mountain peaks giving way to tranquil alpine forests and vast and open tracts of valleys, lakes, glaciers, canyons and waterfalls.
Ice climbing in Jasper National Park is a truly unforgettable experience – book now so you don’t miss out!
Meet at designed meeting point, head to ice climbing site, ice climb for several hours, return to offices in Jasper.

Our guide (Ian) was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. It was our first time ever ice climbing, but it went smoothly and never once did we worry about our safety or abilities. Thanks Ian!
