Grab crampons and ice screws and join me on this half-day ice climbing learning adventure in Sesto, Dolomites. We’ll have a great time on an icefall surrounded by the fantastic mountainside of the Italian Alps.
This adventure is open to everyone (kids included!). We’ll meet at the Alpine School office and go explore the Sexten Dolomites. I’ll teach you how to use ice axes in an effortless way so you can save up your energy. This is a great skill to have if you like reaching high altitudes. Once you learn ice climbing, the sky is the limit!
Even though equipment is not included in the final rate, I am more than happy to rent crampons, ice axes, helmet and harness for you. We also organize individual tours upon request.
Book your trip now! You’ll love this ice climbing learning trip. Come enjoy the Dolomites with me and venture into the frozen world.

IFMGA/UIAGM Guide from Sesto, Italy
For almost 150 years mountain guides from Sesto/Sexten have been taking enthusiastic people on the mountains. Their long-time tradition has seen famous alpinists and legendary first ascents.
We, the new generation of the Alpinschule Sexten – Drei Zinnen, also turned our big passion into our job. The fascination of the mountains urges us all year round onto the local Dolomites and around the globe. With our professional support your time spent on the mountains doubtlessly turns into an unforgettable experience.
I work together with a group of alpine IFMGA guides: Christian, Daniel, Hannes, Joe, Robert, Helmut and Felix. If I'm not available for your request, one of them will guide you!

Our trip with Herbert was fabulous! He was very accommodating, picking us up from our hotel and then dropping us off at the train station. The via ferrata itself was great, we had a blast. Herbert guided us well through the tougher sections. I felt safe and confident the entire time. We would absolutely book Herbert again, and I was very happy with explore-share. Thanks!

Our guide, Christian, was very experienced and knoweldgeable about the area. The climb is suitable for both beginners and the more confident. Would definately recommend.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
