Huerquehue National Park hiking tour is an adventure for all the family! If you love nature and enjoy being surrounded by beautiful lakes and amazing forests you’ll be extremely pleased with this Hike!

The Huerquehue National Park is located 35 kilometers east of Pucón. The government created it in 1967 to protect an area with such a scenery. And also to conserve its biodiversity. Therefore it’s easy to imagine how attractive it can be!

I’ll take you around the Los Lagos Path, in a 4 to 6 hours easy hike. And while we walk through the unique Andean Patagonic Forest, we’ll slowly climb 500 meters.

The path will take us through two lakes – Chico and Toro – and one lagoon – Verde –. These three are really close together, making a dazzling scene. The blue water combines perfectly with the green forest. But the really breathtaking view will be to see the Tinquilco lake with the Villarrica volcano on its back. There are also lots of waterfalls to watch.

Through the whole trip I’ll explain all about the biological diversity. And I’ll show you the native trees such as the Coihue and the unique Araucaria Araucana. In addition you’ll have to be aware to spot one of the many Patagonian animals like Condors, pumas, forest monkeys and black woodpeckers!
