Description

Follow us for a fantastic horseback riding adventure through the beautiful fields of Paraíso in the Dominican Republic. We’ll take you to agricultural farms, small communities, and a dazzling river.

Paraíso is located in the Barahona Province, in the Southwest of the country. It is a beautiful small city surrounded by green mountains, rivers and the magical Caribbean Sea, ideal for nature lovers.

Our adventure begins with a ride to the heights of Paraíso, going through small Dominican and Haitian farmer communities up to Villa Nizao, a small village in the mountain. During the ascent, we’ll be able to enjoy some stunning views of the Caribbean coastline. Finally, on our way down, we’ll cross the Nizaito river and stop by a pepper house, an iconic landmark of the area. The whole ride will take, approximately 3-4 hours. Additionally, it is preferable if you have some horseback riding experience.
