Description

Copalatilla is a fantastic place in the Pacific coast of Mexico near the beautiful town of Huatulco. Being able to hike across this natural paradise is a one in a lifetime opportunity you cannot miss. So pack up your bags and join me on this adventure through the Magic Waterfalls of Copalatilla.

This dazzling natural park offers more than 30 natural waterfalls that you can explore and swim through. They are one of Mexico’s best guarded secrets. As they are not as famous as other places in the country. What’s more they are very easy to access to, located only 1 and a half hours outside of Huatulco, in the community of San Miguel del Puerto. And it is surrounded by deep and mesmerizing vegetation. Also, there are abundant coffee fincas to explore, where you can even grind your own coffee!

These breathtaking cascades are nourished by the affluent of the Copalita river, that runs through the jungle that surrounds them. Furthermore, its more than 30 falls range in altitude, reaching up to 20 meters of height.

Moreover, we’ll encounter natural pools with crystal clear water, deep enough to jump in from the natural rocky platforms around. So for those that love adrenaline, this is the right place to explore! We’ll find a rope that dangles over the water, allowing you to jump into it, as if you were a true Tarzan conquering the mexican jungle.

Then, we’ll hike across enchanting trails. There we’ll be able to observe badgers, deer, iguanas, squirrels and even a special endemic animal that inhabit these lands, the tlacuache, amongst over 300 birds.
