Description

We invite you to join us on a unique experience to the enigmatic Xitle volcano, in the Cumbres del Ajusco National Park, climbing to take a yoga class at the highest part of the crater. Come with us and enjoy a unique experience!

The Xitle volcano is located near Mexico City. This program is a great opportunity to immerse yourself into nature, hiking surrounded by the beautiful landscapes and flora of the mountain, getting a spectacular view from the top.

You will also learn about the  interesting history of this volcano. You need to climb to the summit to see the crater, as it is all covered in green vegetation.

This is a low difficulty level hike, and children from 8 years old can join it. It will take us about 8 hours in total. We will hike along beautiful trails, enjoying a great trekking adventure to the top. We will also enter the caves that the lava rivers left after the eruption centuries ago.

Once at the top of the Xitle volcano, tou will live the experience of meditating and sharing a connection with nature through Yoga, in a very special place, just a step away from Mexico city.

Recommended Age: 8 or older / What to Bring: Windproof top- Complete change of clothes- Mountain coat- Boots or trainers with a treaded sole and which protect the ankles- Comfortable shirt and trousers, preferably made of synthetic fibres and not cotton, including jeans- Water proof jacket- Gloves // Optional: Hat-Trekking poles-Camera
