Hike the Freedom Trail to Piestewa Peak in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve (Half-day)

Also known as the Piestewa Peak Circumference Trail, the Freedom Trail will provide you with unforgettable views of the entire Phoenix Metropolitan area. Moreover, if you do the hike during sunset, the views become even more spectacular. Finally, the hike will culminate with a visit to the Piestewa Peak summit. From the top of the peak, you can enjoy even more great views.

The Freedom Trail is not very difficult. As a result, this half-day trip is great for people who just want to enjoy a scenic trek in a beautiful place. It is also a great preparation hike for people who are trying to build up their trekking skills and stamina for longer, more challenging hikes in the future.
