On this unique hiking day, you will visit the stunning Enipeas Gorge, located in the lower Olympus region. You will enjoy both nature and culture as you explore this unique spot in Greece.
We will set off from Litochoro and after being transferred to the trailhead, we will hike for around 6 hours as we cover a 10 km distance with an 800m elevation gain. On the way, we will cross tiny wooden bridges on the Enipeas River, which will also offer crystal-clear ponds to refresh ourselves in. Additionally, we will also pass the St. Dionysus monastery and a tiny chapel built inside a cave. We will visit both. Once we complete our hike, we will end in Prionia where we will take a van back to Litochoro.
Alternatively, we can also carry out the hike from Prionia to Litochoro, which is a little shorter and easier as it is mostly downhill.
Whichever option you prefer is possible on this exciting hike, just let us know your preference and we can help you make the proper arrangements! We look forward to guiding you!

Vagelis was a great friendly guide tailoring the hike to our higher ability. He also provided us with loads of information about the local peaks/walks, history and hiking culture. He kept us hydrated and safe on the mountain. Hiking Greece was quick to respond to emails and was very professional. They could do with providing a bit more information on what to take and route without having to be promoted. Highly recommend.
