Mount Arab, which has an elevation of 770 meters, offers a well marked and enjoyable path for adventurous hikers. This peak, situated in the town of Piercefield (New York) is part of the Adirondack Mountains.
This hiking trip at Mount Arab welcomes all travelers seeking a relaxing and beautiful trekking experience. If you are by yourself or you would like to hike with other people, family or friends, there is a place for you! Groups may be formed by up to six people.
This hike is pleasant and gives you the opportunity to explore hardwood forests, lakes and mountains in the Tupper Lake region. Besides, there’s an old fire tower and a forest keeper station which can be visited. Mount Arab is part of the Tupper Lake Triad Challenge, a hiking traverse through three peaks.
Adirondack pathways are usually full of roots, and may be rocky and muddy. To avoid any accidents I strongly recommend you bring comfortable clothing, especially good hiking boots. You may also bring your own gear. Trekking poles and daypacks can also be provided in case you need them.
