A long weekend or week of magnificent heliski drops mixed with off-piste of the highest standard, across beautiful Italian valleys which have managed to preserve their authentic character, the small resort of Champoluc as the ideal base in the Italian Val d’Aoste.
Surrounded by forests, this pleasant village has a traditional laid-back atmosphere, and enjoys spectacular views on the glaciers and the peaks of the Monte Rosa range, where the helicopter drops take place.
Fabulous runs go from the Monte Rosa all the way down to Zermatt, then back to Italy by off-piste itineraries starting from the lifts.
Combined with the neighbouring valleys of Gressoney and Alagna, Champoluc bids a wide range of off-piste possibilities, all very different and equally beautiful and exciting, where you will generally find yourself alone. Whatever your level of ability and experience, there will be a slope for you.
The quality of skiing in this area in the shadow of the 4600m of Monte Rosa, together with the superb heli drops, the incredible runs from the summits, including of course the warm Italian welcome and the delicious food… all this will leave you with unforgettable memories and the nagging urge to return.
Feel free to contact me if you come in the Aosta Valley and if you would like to go for some heliski runs. It will be my pleasure to guide you there and let you enjoy some fantastic powder snow.

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
