Description

Have you ever wanted to climb a via ferrata in Austria? Then join me on this half-day adventure in the Kitzbühel Alps!

The Kitzbühel Alps are located in the west of Austria, in the province of Tyrol. A popular Austrian, alpine destination, idyllic is an understatement, and you will be taken away by the landscape.

There are many amazing via ferrata routes to choose from, such as the Waidringer Steinplatte, Morocco, Kitzbüheler Horn or the Wilden Kaiser. Whichever you choose to do, a local guide will show you exactly how to use the equipment, and from there you will be able to take in the sweeping views as you take part in this fun activity.

This trip is easy and can be done in about 2.5 hours, making it a wonderful activity to enjoy during a free morning or afternoon.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
