Due to the unique location of Huatulco, it’s beach, compared to most of the ones nearby, has quiet and relaxing waters. Also, the town offers exquisite gastronomic options, with a cuisine you cannot find anywhere else in the country. It combes local seafood dishes with more traditional ones from the state of Oaxaca.
Then, the place we’ll explore, the Huatulco National Park is a hypnotizing area in the Pacific Coast of Mexico. It lies in Santa María Huatulco, a municipality of the state of Oaxaca, which extends for more than 29, 400 acres.
At the Huatulco National Park, we’ll find over 9,000 species of plants in the mangroves, spread at the coastal belt, as well as the forest. Also, we’ll encounter curious animals such as the armadillos, white-tailed deer, dolphins, whales and turtles; amongst over 701 species of birds, including hawks, pelicans and hummingbirds.
