Description

Have you ever wanted to try ice climbing, but perhaps you’re not ready to visit an ice fall in the mountains? Then this half day taster ice climbing trip in Gaisberg Park in Austria is perfect for you.

Gaisberg Park is very close to the beautiful medieval town of Kitzbuhel. Located in the Tyrol, Kitzbuhel is well known for its beauty and wonderful skiing locations. And because Gaisberg park is so close, this ice climbing trip, which only lasts a few hours in the afternoon, can be a fantastic addition to your Austrian vacation.

The ice tower in Gaisberg park is 20 meters high. Thus making it one of the highest climbing towers in all of Europe. It is also floodlit. As a result, you can enjoy scaling it even as the afternoon makes way for the early evening.

Ideal for beginners, this taster trip is designed as an introduction to the exciting activity of ice climbing. No experience is necessary, and we will supply you with all of the guidance, as well as equipment, that you will require. All you have to do is show up and bring lots of enthusiasm!

So send us a request and come to the ice tower at Gaisberg park. I know you’ll have a great time, and I have no doubt you’ll be anxious to use the skills you’ve learned to try bigger ice walls in the future.
