Come and discover the majestic Valle de la Barranca on a 2-3 hour hike. Follow me to this beautiful spot in Sierra de Guadarrama, Spain where I will teach you everything I know about this stunning region!
Located next to La Maliciosa and Bola del Mundo, Valle de la Barranca is one of the highlights of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park. It is ideal for outdoor lovers looking for a quiet afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid.
On this hiking trip, we’ll follow a forest path that takes us along the dam of Navacerrada and the Ejército de Aire. This path will take us up to a stunning sightseeing spot, Mirador de las Canchas, that overlooks the whole National Park, la Bola del Mundo, La Maliciosa, las Cabrillas and Madrid. Finally, we’ll return along the Senda Ortiz, which follows one of the most peaceful areas of the Valle de la Barranca.
Get ready to discover the dazzling world of the Guadarrama National Park. Send your message and let me take care of all the rest!
If you are looking for more hiking trips in the Pyrenees, you can follow me for a 6-day adventure in the Sierra de Guadarrama or a 6-day trip to Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.

Pedro was so knowledgeable about the area, and graciously answered all our questions, even those unrelated to the hike. He was very kind in picking us up from Madrid for a small fee. He also took a bunch of photos of my husband and I during the trek, which I really appreciated since those are our only pictures together from our trip to Spain. I'd definitely recommend Pedro to anyone traveling to Madrid and interested in experiencing nature outside the city.
