A must see in the state of Colorado, the White River National Forest is nature at its finest. And for a half-day, in the brightness of the morning hours, we would like to guide you along one of the many different trails within the forest.
Located near Aspen, trekking through the White River National Forest is a wondrous experience. The flora and fauna, the peaks, the bodies of water, the wild life will definitely leave an impression on you. There is also a lot of peace and tranquility to be enjoyed during this trip as well, as many of the trails are quite secluded.
Due to the forest’s size, there are trails ideal for trekking novices, as well as more experienced hikers. For example, for the less experienced, we will trek at a level of approximately 600 – 1,000 vertical feet. Meanwhile, for the more experienced, we will trek at a level of approximately 1,000 to 1,300 vertical feet. The round trip distance of this trip is between 3 to 5 miles. And the trip will last between 3 and 4 hours.
Perfect for people who want to explore one of North America’s finest outdoor areas, this half-day trek in the White River National Forest is a wonderful trip. Participants should bring the following items with them: comfortable hiking shoes, reasonable layers, from t-shirt and long sleeve shirt to long and/or short pants, a hat, sunglasses, sun screen and camera.
