No matter what time of year you decide to visit Algonquin park, you are in for a treat. In the autumn, the range of colors on the leaves of the trees is stupendous. Meanwhile, in the spring and summer, the temperate weather and sound and often sight of wildlife will make you feel as if the nearest city is thousands of kilometers away, even though Toronto is less than 300 kilometers away. However, on this half-day trip, we would like to guide you through the park in the winter, on a cross-country tour that will take you through an extensive, seemingly endless blanket of snow.
Pristine and peaceful, the winter scenery of Algonquin park is as unique as it is stunning. Don’t be surprised if along the route you see tracks in the snow from an assortment of animals. You will also hear the soothing trickle of water in a number of not quite frozen over creeks and streams. A true gift for the senses, the park during the winter months is a wonder to explore. And I have no doubt you will have a great time. And as a welcome break in the day, you can also enjoy a hot lunch with some equally warm beverages.
Are you fond of exploring natural places? Then this half-day cross-country tour of Algonquin park will definitely appeal to you. To enjoy it for yourself, just send us a request.
We can also take you snowshoeing in Algonquin park on this half-day trip as well.
