Description

If you´ve been putting off the vacation of your dreams, now is the time to take a week for yourself to splitboard and explore the incredible country in the Coast Mountains of Canada! Based around the Whitecap Alpine Lodge, you will have day after day of spectacular backcountry runs and pure powder to shred!

Only 2.5 hours outside of Vancouver, and roughly 40km northeast of Whistler in British Columbia, the Whitecap Alpine Lodge is centered in a snow-lover´s paradise. Its location has access to more than 100 routes to choose from, so you will have plenty of time to traverse the countryside on thrilling lines.

The light and dry powder is great for riding, owing its consistency to the colder air on the east side of the range. Combined with the varied terrain of ridges, summits, and steep runs, you couldn´t ask for a better place to spend a week enjoying true mountain nature.

The lodge is in proximity to ten major glaciers and four major valleys. The aesthetics are stunning, and traversing the landscape is just as satisfying as descending through pristine powder. Some runs can reach 1,500 meters, and feature both open riding and tree boarding.

I know this region extremely well, and can design a program that fits you like a glove. This includes the seasoned splitboarders ready for a top-tier challenge, as well as those closer to the beginning of their backcountry careers. I´m a capable and safe guide who knows how to guarantee a good time and make sure you can achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

For the most part, the weather is accommodating, and you won´t miss out on any mountain time because of it. Much of the terrain faces north and receives the best conditions for splitboarding and riding.

You will stay at the Whitecap Alpine Lodge, where the amenities will leave you refreshed for every day out in snow. It includes a sauna and a living room that gets its heat from a wood-burning fireplace. The panoramas and views from the lodge are tremendous and breathtaking. The sleeping arrangements include multiple bedrooms.

While I can plan a program around your abilities and needs, you should have some backcountry experience and be in good physical shape for this sustained adventure.

Book this once-in-a-lifetime splitboarding tour NOW to the beautiful and rewarding Whitecap Alpine Lodge and spend a week in this Canadian paradise!
