The city of Marseille is an amazing base for rock climbing trips, with a privileged location over the Mediterranean coast. From Marseille to Cassis, the amazing Calanques extend for over 20 km on the coast of the Mediterranean, offering a great diversity of climbing routes and cliffs.

From long multi-pitch routes up to 250m long, single pitch sport routes, to traverses along the sea edge and deep water soloing, Les Calanques offers something for everyone, from beginners to experienced climbers looking for new challenges.

Les Calanques is one of France’s most popular rock climbing spots, with over 3,400 routes, easy access and great weather year round. The Verdon Gorge is another great rock climbing location.Come discover some of the best limestone in the world!
