Description

Join me for one or more fantastic multi-pitch ice climbing days in the Dolomites! This mountain range in northern Italy is a prime option to climb on the ice.

Come along and explore some of the most stunning ice climbing spots in the region, including the iconic Val di Fassa, Gardena, and Badia valleys.

When the waterfalls freeze in the winter, there is no time to waste! The water freezes on the vertical rock walls in the Dolomites creating structures of incredible beauty where time seems to have stopped. We will discover these hidden gems and safely climb them against the force of gravity surrounded by the unique atmosphere of worldwide-famous Dolomites.

We'll kick off our ice climbing adventure from one of these locations: Pozza di Fassa, Canazei, Ortisei, Selva di Val Gardena, Colfosco, Cavalese, Trento, or Bolzano. Each spot offers a unique gateway to the iconic Dolomites! Depending on your own ability and experience, I can propose you a waterfall that suits you. Ice climbing can be dangerous but, as a professional mountain guide, I will take care of you to let you safely enjoy this exciting and magical experience.

Missing some personal gear? No problem! Just reach out to me before booking—I can arrange rentals to make sure you’re fully prepared.

Ice climbing can only be done for a few months during the year...so then, what are you waiting for? Do not miss this opportunity! Contact me today to secure your spot and explore the icy beauty of the Dolomites in Val di Fassa, Gardena, or Badia.

What people are saying about Cesare

We did 2 days crush course with Cesare. He was very well prepared and well structured. We had a good mixture of theory and practice and Casare was always ready to answer our questions. Also is flexibility to taylor the content on our level and needs was very valuable.

Cesare is carefull and very responsible

The snow safety tour was well-organized and structured, held in an appropriate location and at the right time to meet its objectives. You’ll learn a lot, as the knowledge shared exceeded my expectations. The English communication was clear and easy to understand even for total beginners. Cesare is very strict, demanding and has excellent pedagogical skills but also creates a positive, enjoyable teaching atmosphere. I had a lot of fun while gaining substantial knowledge and will for sure choose him again for my next adventure.
