Guided hiking tour around Mount Fuji

In the island of Honshu, Mount Fuji (3776 m) stands as the most distinguished feature of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Join me for a beautiful trek around this iconic peak of Japan!

We can go for 1 or 2 days of hiking to the surroundings of Mount Fuji, depending on your time and the mountain you would like to visit.

I can pick you up from your hotel near the mountain or a station area. Otherwise, we can meet at Shinjyuku-station and travel from there using public transport.

I can offer you many different itineraries. These are some of the options:

• Myoujyo Trail: Altitude difference is 800m but there are many ups and downs. It is a 10-km walk in total, which takes around 6 hours to complete.

• Mt.Kintoki Trail: Altitude differenc is 550m. It is a 5-km walk and takes 3-4h to complete.

Please bring proper hiking shoes, lunch and a drink.

A third option is the Shichimen-san (1,982 m – 6,502 ft), which takes 2 days. This tour involves staying overnight at pilgrims’ lodgings in a temple in the mountain. A truly inspiring and one of a kind experience.

For these hikes, I can take groups of between 1 and 4 hikers.
