Join me in this ascent to the Grossglockner (3798 m), Austria's highest mountain, and enjoy a fantastic experience in this mythical peak!
This famous piramidal shaped mount is a highlight for mountain lovers. Furthermore, climbing the Grossglockner is on the wish list of many amateur mountaineers!
This beautiful peak lies on the border between the Austrian states of Carinthia and Tyrol. It belongs to the Hohe Tauern range, along the main ridge of the Central Eastern Alps. Also, it offers different levels of difficulty for its ascent, from a light glacier tour to an ice climbing tour.
Besides, we will be able to enjoy culinary delicacies in any of the cabins around the mountain. In this area we find many huts, as the Luckner, the Salm and the Stüdl, among others. Most important, once in the Grossglockner summit, we will enjoy breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains!
So please contact me if you want to join me in the Grossglockner ascent! I will give you all the details you need. Also, I will answer any questions you may have about the program.
I also offer a via ferrata in Mayrhofen and Zillertal, some even suitable for children! Check it out!

Mountain Guide
I'm a certified (IFMGA) mountain guide based in Mayrhofen, a city in the Zillertal, in the state of Tyrol. It is located approximately one hour from Innsbruck. I guide in the Western and Eastern Alps during the winter and summer. I love spending unforgettable moments up there in the mountains, on rock, ice and snow, together with my friends and clients. Feel free to get in touch with me if you plan to come in Austria and if you want an off the beaten tracks experience.

Florian was very communicative in the days up to our tour, making sure we knew exactly where to meet - and discussing weather cancellation. We postponed the tour by 1 day, due to bad weather. When we met, Florian was well prepared and had the gear ready. He had chosen a difficult route to test our abilities, and when it proved too hard, we quickly went to an easier route which suited our capabilities perfectly.

This activity should be described as "half day" rather than full day since the Via Ferrata was completed in 2 hours. My guide was excellent. I recommend Florian.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
