A freeride ski trip to Gressoney offers the ultimate snow experience for any freeride skier. In this beautiful ski resort, located on the southern side of Monte Rosa, the possibilities are endless. I propose to you here a 6-day trip to enjoy the best snow. You wonât get tired of the varied scenery: glaciers and wide valleys are a feast for the eyes. Discover one of the best skiing spots in Italy, combined with its warm welcomes, and delicious high quality food. In addition, in the evenings rest in a comfortable chalet hotel.
You need to have off-piste / backcountry skiing experience, but it is not necessary to have skinned before. The climbs on skins will be short. We will gain access to remote wild routes far from the crowds.
These are some of the highlights of this 6-day freeride skiing trip in Gressoney and Alagna:
Epic runs in diverse and vast surroundings
Confortable accommodation with attentive service
Delicious Italian food
Ski on the Monte Rosa glaciers
Convenient access via TGV and shuttle
Transportation on a minibus to each spot
Below, you can check put the proposed itinerary. Keep in mind that this is only a guide of a ski touring program in Gressoney, Monte Rosa. Bear in mind that I may change it depending on the weather, snow conditions and the level of the participants. The goal is always to enjoy to the fullest in all safety.
This freeride ski trip is for competent skiers in all snow conditions. You have to be able to ski all day at a good pace, the terrain can include some steep parts. However, you donât need to have experience in ski touring, since the climbs will be short (max 45 min per day). Of course you need to be in good physical shape. You will have a snow/avalanche safety training.
Please contact me if you are interested in skiing on some of the best powder snow in the Alps. It will be my pleasure to guide you there. And if Iâm not available on your chosen dates, another guide from the team will join you.
We can either meet at Oulx at 7:30AM or directly at Gressoney at 9AM, where we have a briefing and transfer to your accommodation. At Gressoney, we do some freeride warming up. We will also have a security briefing related to off-piste skiing.

The Guide did not even know I'am on splitboard. Everyone else was on skis, I was the only one on board. Guide has no experience on board, so the daily trips was designed for skiers, not borders. I would like to know which company is responsible putting me in a ski group, Azimut or Explore-Share? If you don't know the difference between what is doable with skis and splitboards, you would not sell trips for splitboarders! In the only day I could enjoy somehow, I did very hard time to stay on my feet on icy steeps, because I should have had a crampon, but I did not have it, because the list of necessary equipment does not mention it. All the skiers had one. The guide anyway did what he could to help me, all the respect for Rafael. But the whole trip was a fuckup for me that way. I really want to know who is responsible!?
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
