Are you ready to take on the highest point in the U.S. State of Montana?
Located in the Beartooth Range, Granite Peak (12799 ft / 3901 m) is often considered as the most difficult summit after Denali in Alaska. During this 4-day expedition, hikers will discover this remote and amazingly scenic area, north of the fantastic Yellowstone National Park.
Our proposal is to go on a 4-day journey up to the summit via the East Ridge route. We will start ascending to the base of this famous peak from Mystic Lake, a popular destination for fishermen, and from there we will continue to the East Ridge through the north Granite snowfield.
During this mountain expedition, participants will learn to enjoy this natural beauty in a sustainable way and without creating any impact on the environment. All the way from basic mountaineering to technical peak ascent, climbers will learn:
The proper use and care of equipment
Risk assessment
Ice Axe arrest
Snow/rock anchors
Rappelling
How to move on snow
Belay systems
One of our certified guides will provide you with tents, ropes, helmets, harnesses and all the necessary equipment for this 4-day adventure. Also, all participants should be in great physical condition and have some prior experience on mountaineering.
On this 4-day Granite Peak mountain expedition, you will get a chance to conquer its summit and learn many new mountaineering skills. So if you are interested, request to book this trip and join us on this unique experience!
