Description

The second largest city in Sweden, and the fifth largest in Scandanavia, Gothenburg is a fantastic place to visit. The city is filled with beautiful sites, great restaurants and an assortment of comfortable hotels. Thus making it a must visit if you come to Sweden. However, on this day long trip, we would like to show you another part of the city that many people might not associate with it: the thrilling rock climbing!

There are 3 main areas you can choose to climb around Gothenburg. One area is the city itself, which has a number of trad routes and sport routes in the upper grades. Another area is in North Gothenburg, which has some great sport routes on overhanging, steep routes. And finally, there is East Gothenburg, which as a number of easier, lower grade sport climbs on vertical, overhanging or slab routes.

In all, there are over 40 crags and over 1,600 routes to choose from. As a result, no matter your skill level, we will find the perfect spot for you. And throughout your day tour, along with the thrill of the climb, you will get to marvel at the stunning views of the city and surrounding area.
