Would you like to go on a thrilling trek in the Himalayas and discover some of the most beautiful sights in the region? Then join me on this 15-day Gokyo Renjo La Pass adventure from Kathmandu.
The Gokyo lakes are located in north-eastern Nepal in the Himalayas. They are considered sacred by Hindus and Buddhists and are a stunning sight. The Gokyo Rengo La Pass is located at an altitude of 5,360 m and will allow us to explore this breathtaking region.
On this 15-day adventure, we will set off from Kathmandu and fly to Lukla where we will begin trekking. Every day, we will have the chance to discover a new landmark in the Himalayas and catch stunning views of Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Everest, and Mt. Lhotse. In the evenings, we will rest in mountain huts and make sure to recover for the day ahead. The program will allow us to experience the unique mountain life of Nepal, and discover the local culture. Additionally, we will have the chance to visit the beautiful Gokyo Lake.
In order to join this program, you will need to be physically fit. However, be sure that we will be there every step of the way to ensure your comfort and safety. Furthermore, we have designed this itinerary with enough time for proper acclimatization, which is important when climbing in high altitudes.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Day 2: Lukla Flight (2,800m/ 9383ft) then treks to Phakding (2,652m/8700ft) Duration: 3 hours
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,290ft) Duration: 6 hours
Day 4: Acclimatization: Namche Bazaar
Day 5: Trek to Dole (4,410m / 13,152 ft) Duration: 6 hours
Day 6: Trek to Machherma (4,470m / 14,663 ft) Duration: 5 hours
Day 7: Trek to Gokyo Lake (4800m/ 15,744 ft) Duration: 5 hours
Day 8: Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,483 m) and back to Gokyo Duration: 5 hours
Day 9: Trek to Lunden (4,300m) via crossing Renjo la Pass (5,340 m) Duration: 7 hours
