Glacier hike and photography in the Mont Blanc massif

This 2-day course which I organise are dedicated for every person who wants to enjoy a good time in the mountains and learn about new technics to take good pictures up there.

This course takes place in the Mt Blanc range above Chamonix, Courmayeur and Saint Gervais. During the 2 days we will:
– Take pictures of some of the most beautiful panorama of the Mont Blanc Massif;
– Learn / review the technics to take good shots in the mountains;
– Improve some specific technics: panoramic photo, composition, depth of field, sunrise and sunset…

We will leave either from Chamonix (Aiguille du Midi), either from Courmayeur (Pointe Helbronner), depending on the weather conditions and the mountaineering level of the participants. We will cross La Vallée Blanche and stay at the Torino mountain hut (rifugio), on the Italian side of the massif. The exact program will be defined together based on your wishes and your photography / mountaineering experience.

We will wake up early in the morning in order to enjoy the unique light you have when being up there in the mountain. The daily program will be a combination of glacier hikes and photography. We will arrive early at the refuge I order to be ready for the sun set.

It’s not necessary to have past mountaineering experience to join this course. We will be hiking together on altitude trails and glaciers. However, it’s required that you are fit since we will be walking on altitude 2 to 4 hours per day carrying a backpack.

Based on the program and the level of the participants, I will be able to take 6 persons with me. If you would be a larger group, I will ask a friend of mine, IFMGA mountain guide as well, to join us in order to maximise the safety of the group.

Prix
