Join us as we take you a day-long kayaking trip to see two iconic landmarks of Canada, Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island!
Percé Rock (Pierced Rock) is a massive rock formation which lies in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, at the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula. This huge limestone block is over 433 m long and 90 m wide. It has a 15m high arch on its seaward southern end**,** making it one of the world’s largest natural arches in water.
Located 3.5 KM from the Gaspé Peninsula, Bonaventure Island was converted into a migratory bird sanctuary in 1919. Since then it serves as one of the largest bird sanctuaries in the world. There are over 200 species of birds which either live here or migrate during specific seasons.
The trip offers a chance to paddle to both of these emblematic places near Quebec City. We will begin from the Gaspé Peninsula and after a short talk about the safety measures and the use of equipment, you will be fit to paddle!
Get ready to see amazing vistas of Percé Rock and numerous sea birds on this tour. We’ll take a small break after reaching the island and rejuvenate ourselves on its calm and pristine beaches. Look out for the northern gannet, the common murre and the blackpoll warblers, few of the many birds which are found here.
After spending an enjoyable day, we’ll head back to the Gaspé Peninsula, marking the end to an incredible trip.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
