Join me on this 3-day hike to discover the highlights of Finale Ligure, one of the best regions for hiking in Italy!
Starting from Finalborgo, we will spend 3 days walking around West Liguria, a region full of history and beautiful landscapes between the mountains and the sea. We’ll also enjoy amazing local food!
There are many surprising and breathtaking trails in Finale Ligure, and the path will take us from caves to Monte Carmo, the Cresta Path, and Vecchia Cava. Check below the detailed day-by-day itinerary.
The hike is of medium difficulty, and we’ll have an elevation gain of 500 m, 850 m, and 350 m on days 1, 2, and 3. I recommend bringing layered clothing (as an onion), good hiking shoes, and a backpack with water, snacks, sandwich (or other) fleece, down jacket, shell (kway), and sunglasses.
Are you interested in this 3-day hiking trip in Finale Ligure? Then contact me, and I’ll be happy to guide you and show you around!
In case you are looking for a shorter trip, I also offer a 2-day hiking getaway in Liguria.
Finalese tour from the Ivy Grotto to the Rocca di Perti with a ring tour, walking from cave to cave, enjoying both history and nature.
Monte Carmo along the Cresta path and lunch in the refuge.
In Verezzi from Finalborgo along the path of the Vecchia Cava, from which we will be able to enjoy a unique view and really understand what is the peculiarity of the Pietra di Finale, which has greatly influenced and still affects the history of the place.

Mountain Leader
My name is Micol Casaleggio, I am a geologist, and I have always been a sportswoman, from horse riding to climbing. In 2019 I became a Mountain Leader (Accompagnatore di Media Montagna) and I joined the Società Guide Alpine Finale team, precisely as a trekking guide.
My goal has always been to work with something that I really like, something that when I come home makes me think I'm happy!
I would like to share the importance and beauty of nature in the mountains as its spokesperson ... I love everything that is nature and exploration, I love hiking because it is freedom!
In parallel to the work that I carry out with satisfaction within the S.G.A.F. I decided to start my own business in which to propose exclusively my accompanied excursions in the mountains, but not only, in fact I offer hiking activities on the Riviera, river trekking, mountain biking, activities with the Pink Mountain project ...
My starting point is Finale Ligure, then ranging throughout Liguria, from the Apennines to my beloved Ligurian Alps, the Maritime Alps, Piedmont, Val d'Aosta, Sardinia and wherever the adventure will lead me ...
I am Trekking Different because trekking is not just walking, but it is the beginning of a path in harmony with nature, it is a way of being of which we must savour the awareness step by step. Of "trekking" we must know the technique and its secrets, remembering that we never challenge nature, but we walk its paths and its mountains to know ourselves.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
