Description

Panama is a dazzling country full of surprises. But one of the most incredible places you can visit on this magical country is the Bayano Lake. Don’t miss the chance to explore this natural beauty near Panama City. Join one of our expert and certified guides on this adventure to this mesmerizing Lake.

We can encounter by the lakeside of Bayano, which is only a few kilometers from the Pan American highway, the mythical highway that crosses the whole continent. Thereon, one of our experienced guides will give you a life jacket, as well as the helmet that includes a light, which you will use when we get to the caves of this lake.

After a security briefing and putting on all our safety gear, we’ll meet a local boat captain who will take us a on a pleasant boat ride that will last for about 30 minutes. This wonderful boat adventure will take us around the islands at Lake Bayano, to finally reach its caves.

Upon arrival we’ll trek through rocks and water. There will even be times in which we’ll be in complete darkness.

Then, the deeper we walk into these caves, the more hypnotizing sceneries we’ll encounter. We’ll see breathtaking rock formations, along with natural pools of water. Some of these pools are home of hundreds of small and colorful fish and frogs. However, the kings of these caves are the intriguing bats that call this place home. Furthermore, we’ll stop at several locations, in which the cave’s ceiling opens illuminating the whole place with the purest rays of sun.
