Description

Via ferrata trips, are the perfect way to combine walking and climbing in a safe manner. This unique activity, allows those with no mountaineering experience, to live a high altitude adventure. And one of the best via ferratas in Europe lies in the enchanting village of Evolene. Located in the ski resort of Thyon, near Verbier, this via ferrata will certainly show you a completely different side of Switzerland.

We generally depart from the town of Evolene heading to Hauderes. Then, a 15 minute trek will take us to the foot of the cliff and the beginning of our journey. Thereon, you’ll experience nothing but adrenaline and fun. Prepare to challenge yourself and use your arm strength. Also, get ready to enjoy the most incredible sceneries as we keep ascending.

The Evolene via ferrata has three different routes, so the options here are incredibly varied. We could even skip the first step and use a narrow path that is ideal for kids. Finally the section at the end is reserved with those with previous experience, as it is the most demanding part.
