Description

One of the most unique treks in Nepal, the Everest Three Pass Trek will make you cross not one but three high passes in the region, the Kongma-La Pass,(5535m), Cho-La pass (5420m) and the  Renjo La pass (5360m). Plus, you’ll also get to explore the amazing ecosystem of the popular Sagarmatha National Park, so come join us on this amazing 19-day expedition.

The trek has a lot to offer. Throughout the journey, you’ll have amazing mountain views and see the high peaks of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt.Cho Oyu (8,201m)Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Makalu (8,463m) and many more.

The trail further leads to the remote valley of Nangpa La, the monastery village of Thame and also Marlung, which is known for its Sherpa settlement.

We’ll begin the journey in Kathmandu and passing via Namche Bazaar and Tengboche (3860 m), head all the way to Dingboche 4410 m. From there, we’ll scale the Kongma-La Pass (5535 m), the highest of the 3 passes.

Khongma-La will offer unforgettable memories of the panoramic peaks of the Himalayas. Then, we’ll start towards Gorekshep, passing via Lobuche (4910 m).

A junction of Kalapathar and Everest Base camp, Gorekshep offers some stunning views. From there, we’ll first hike to Kalapathar for some jaw-dropping views of the Everest and later trek to the Everest Base Camp. On the way, you’ll be able to see the daunting Khumbu Icefall, which has challenged many hikers in the past.

The next destination is the Cho-La pass (5420 m). Though not the highest, this pass is definitely the hardest of all. From here, the trail leads to Gokyo to see the pristine lakes of the Gokyo valley. After, gorging on the spectacular scenery, we’ll climb Gokyo Ri (5420 m).

Heading further, we’ll get to the High Camp via the Renjo-La pass (5360 m), the last pass of the tour and later descend all the way to Namche Bazaar, and board yet another scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, ending this incredible trek.

Regarding difficulty, keep in mind this is a sustained trip that requires you to be in excellent shape.
