Are you looking for a unique adventure? This one-of-a-kind journey is a mix of snowshoeing and stargazing in the beautiful Lake Tahoe, California. This winter, join us for an experience unlike any other.
We will travel into the night on our snowshoes. We will journey through serene forests blanketed in snow. We will be able to gaze upon the stars which are extremely bright and visible on clear nights. We will snowshoe through the wilderness, traveling through valleys and expansive open meadows. We will also get a chance to walk along the coast of high alpine lakes.
This trip is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature. The Lake Tahoe basin has very little light pollution. Light pollution is what keeps those of us in densely-populated areas from enjoying the stars on a daily basis. Here, we are miles away from any big cities which means we get to enjoy the glowing night sky in all its glory!
We can relax, have a nice mug of hot cocoa and learn about the constellations that fill the sky overhead. Understanding the stars above will make you appreciate them even more!
