On this opportunity, we invite you to explore the eastern peninsula of Madeira, Ponta São Lourenço, and enjoy hiking by the sea. Follow us on this easy day hike!

Our walk will start on the eastern-most point of the island. While hiking, we’ll get to see breathtaking panoramas of the coast and relax at the view of the sea. Also, we might have the chance to spot some of the unique local flora and fauna on the way, such as birds and lizards. In addition, we’ll find different rock formations, a product of the volcanic origin of this section of the island.

As for the itinerary, this easy trail has a duration of 4 hours and an extension of 8 kilometers. Therefore, it is an ideal hike for everyone to enjoy.
