On this extensive 28 day expedition, you will get to trek along the stunning Dolpo – Mustang route through the Himalayas of Nepal.
Throughout this incredible and vast stretch of what will seem like endless landscape, you will get to behold an area that is unlike any other in the world. The Dolpo area is beyond gorgeous, it is magical. During the day, when we will be trekking throughout the region, you will get to see everything from valleys and lakes, to forests, rivers and an assortment of majestic 7000 metre plus peaks that loom all around. And during the night you will get to gaze at a ski above that will appear as vast as the land below. Also, because there will be no city light interference, you will get to see more stars from our camps than you thought existed in the universe.
We will be visiting many different towns and villages throughout Dolpo. Some examples include Sepka, Reji, Dovan, Namgung, Chha, and many more. Each one of these places will provide their own memorable experience, as you will get to interact with the local people and learn about their culture. Another great aspect of this trip is that you will get to enjoy several short, but beautifully scenic flights through the mountains, as well as a few days to explore the unique capital city of Kathmandu.
The Dolpo – Mustang route is not only beautiful, but famous as well, as it has been used in films like Caravan and it would be our pleasure to lead you on this 4 week trek through it. So send us a request, and join us on this amazing adventure.
Would you like to do some climbing with us in Nepal? If so, we can also guide you on this 21 day trip around Dhaulagiri, where you can climb the Thapa peak.
After your arrival in Kathmandu, one of our representatives will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel B & B. Afterwards, we will have a brief meeting about the trips itinerary, and you will have the rest of the day to explore Kathmandu.
Today, you will have the chance to explore the city of Kathmandu, do some last minute shopping, and see the many sights it has to offer, from the Monkey temple to the Bouddha Nath and so much more. You will spend the night in a hotel B & B.
Today we will take a short flight to Nepalgunj, which is just 8 kilometres from the Indian border, thus why the Indian influence in this city is so prevalent. There are many highlights from the bazaar to the Bageshowri temple.
We will take another short, but scenic flight to Juphal, which is nothing more than a gravel airstrip in the mountains, thus why the landing is so much fun. After we land, we will trek to Dunai, where we will spend the night.
Today you will have another full day to explore the city of Kathmandu so you can see whatever you may have missed on the second day of the trip. Afterwards, we will have a farewell dinner, and you will spend your final night of the trip in a hotel B & B.
On the final day, we will transfer you to the Kathmandu international airport, where you will catch your flight home.

Our guide Dr Flemming was excellent. He went above and beyond what we expected. We felt very safe and well trained to practice our climbing. Location was perfect and even though rain had been forecasted, they worked with us to make sure we could climb safely.
