Description

In the warmth of summer, kayaking along a beautiful river is almost poetic in how wonderful it can be. And on this half day journey, you will get to kayak along one of the most lovely rivers in New England, the Deerfield.

The Deerfield river, stretching along the state of Massachusetts, will provide you with the perfect backdrop for a great exploratory trip. You will get to see nature at its finest. And you will get to feel, up close, the serenity and the energy of the water.

The kayaks we offer are very easy to use. They are light and well balanced, and manoeuvring with them requires almost no effort or instruction at all. They are so easy to use that children as young as 10 can operate them independently. And if you want to enjoy this experience with a younger child, you need not worry, because children as young as 7 can enjoy a shared kayak with an adult.

For the adventurous, there are some class I and II rapids that can be enjoyed during this trip. And our guides will be happy to guide you to and through those exciting rushes of white water. However, if you are just looking for a leisurely paddling journey along the river, where you can admire the scenery, including the Berkshire foothills, our guides can guide you to and through several appropriate routes as well.

Whatever kayaking experience you want to have during this half-day trip, we will be able to provide. All you have to do is send us a request, and we’ll happily take care of the rest.
