Via ferrata 1-day course in Moravia

Calling all ages for a via ferrata in Moravia! Come join me on this day-long ferrata in the Moravian mountains of Karst and the Vír Resevoir!

Moravia is situated in the pleasant southeast region of the Czech Republic, on the border of Slovakia and Austria. Home to the Moravian Karst and Vír Resevoir, this via ferrata allows us to see nature’s beautiful foliage from all angles. And because it is expected that many of you will not only be new to the region but also to guided via ferrata trips, we make sure to spend a significant amount of time learning about the basics of this discipline.

We begin this day-long excursion learning about how to use the equipment, tips and tricks for moving smoothly and crossing secured paths. Once all of this information has been digested, we begin our via ferrata! We cross several more simple passages near the Vír Resevoir, but also tread some that are a bit more challenging in their level of difficulty when making our way along the limestone walls near the Karst Mountain. Once we have passed this section, we arrive in an area filled with other attractions, such as caves and a children’s ropes course!

This trip is open to those in groups of 2 or more aged 7-99 years old and by advanced reservation only.  Should you not have a full day to spare, it is possible to arrange that this trip be made in only half a day, which is a fun alternative if you do not have a lot of time. Finally, this adventure does not include meals or transportation, so please be sure to make these arrangements in advance!
