Discover ancient ruins and learn about the history and culture of Mexico on this 1-day walking tour around Mayapan and the Loltun Caves.

In southeastern Mexico, in the state of Yucatán, we’ll find several areas that reflect the past of this land, such as Mayapan and the Loltun Cavez. Mayapan is an archeological site from the Mayan civilization. Situated near the city of Mérida, it dates from the late Post-Classic period and contains plenty of ancient ruins. Additionally, it also boasts breathtaking views!

Nearby, the Loltun Caves are also stunning with many ruins of human settlements as well as tools and paintings from another time. In addition to its cultural importance, it’s a wonderful natural area to explore too!

As for the requirements, this program is open to everyone. However, it’s always helpful to have a good level of fitness. Of course, our guides will be there the whole time to show the way and help you.
