Visiting Mérida or the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico? Then we have a great day trip for you and your family. We’ll take you to the stunning ruins of Uxmal and then go swimming to one of the breathtaking cenotes in the area.
When in Mérida, most people head straight to Chichen Itzá without knowing that there are tons of other options. Uxmal is an alternative outstanding ruin, where the crowds are smaller and there is more space to explore and climb the structures. It is located in the Puuc valley and it constitutes one of the most authentic examples of Puuc architecture. You’ll be mesmerized with all the decorative details it has.
After visiting this breathtaking spot, we’ll then take you to an open cenote where we can snorkel, swim and cliff jump. Fully refreshed, we can then enjoy an authentic Mayan lunch.
