Description

The interior of Cantabria, Spain is an amazing place, well worth exploring and enjoying. Full of mountains and valleys, there are a number of amazing routes to enjoy.

During this trip, which can last for one or more days if you wish, I would like to guide you along the best routes in Cantabria. But, you can rest assured that regardless of which route we choose, you will have an unbelievable experience. You will have the opportunity to explore one of the best natural areas in Spain. Furthermore, you will also get to visit some of the area’s villages as well. Hence giving you a chance to meet the local populace, while also enjoying the area’s spectacular views.

While the array of routes allows us to choose options of varying levels, it is important that all participants on this trip are in good physical condition. Prior hiking experience is also recommended as well.

AEGM Mountain Guide from Spain

Passionate for mountains since I was a kid, at 14 I started climbing in Atxarte (Vizcaya) walls, thanks to some friends. Later I discovered other activities such as canyoning, skiing and ice climbing, which allowed me to enjoy mountains both in summer and in winter.

I travelled around Europe, USA, India, Peru, Marruecos, among others, with the excuse of climbing some peak, wall, or doing some canyoning.

I've been a member of the 'Young Alpinists Technification Team' of the Basque Mountain Federation, and after gaining experience in all mountain disciplines I left behind my job as electronic technician to become a guide in order to pass on my passion and knowledge to others.
