Description

There are countless options of places to visit from Cusco, Peru. However, it could be difficult to choose one that adapts to your schedule and budget. Therefore, I created this 1 day program to Laguna Humantay, departing from Cusco.

On this hiking adventure, we’ll get to appreciate the dazzling sceneries of the Andes. Also, we’ll have the chance to admire the unique flora and fauna throughout the valley mountains, and around Laguna Humantay.

After picking up all the participants from their hotels early in the morning, around 4:00 a.m., our adventure begins. Thereon, we’ll drive for about 2 hours until we get to the enchanting town of Mollepata. Then, we’ll have a nutritious breakfast, and prepare to continue on our trip for 1 more hour approximately towards Soraypampa. Upon arrival, we’ll get ready for our trekking expedition.

The trek is the perfect opportunity to take fantastic pictures. And upon arrival at Laguna Humantay we’ll have free time to truly take in the beauty of this breathtaking place. After admiring this marvelous lagoon, we’ll head back to our camp, where we’ll have lunch. Finally, to end our tour, we’ll drive back to Cusco, where we’ll drop you off, at around 17:30.

Would you like to join this trekking trip? Just send me a request, and prepare for an unforgettable adventure in Peru.

I also guide other trips. For instance, check this 15-day guided expedition: Santa Cruz trek + Nevado Pisco climb, if you have more time, and wish to keep exploring Peru.

What people are saying about Peru

He was very kind, patient and helped me to reach my goal the citadel of Machupicchu. One day I wanted to quit but he encouraged me to continue and waited for my step.

We did the MTB-Huarascan-Circuit (Crossing Punta Olimpica Pass and Portachuelo de Llanganuco Pass) with Eric Albinos „Peru Expedition“. All, the transfers, the hotel stays, the acclimatization tours and the circuit itself, was well organized. Eric and his staff were flexible to our wishes and very helpful. Our Guide Joni is an excellent mountain bike-guide and good tailor too if something is torn. The cook prepared delicious meals during the circuit. The camping equipment was in very good condition. We (Karin, Franz. Wolfgang) can fully recommend „Eric´s Peru Expeditions“.

The agency gave me a guide Darwin, not Juventino. Climb was good, easy just walking. There is one dangerous section near the moraine area with very loose gravel. So make sure you don't slip there or you are dead. I stayed in refugio at the base camp which was much more comfy than camping. Darwin was good but give clients some breaks once in a while, not rush too much. It's a high altitude climbing after all.

5 star guide. Nothing but the best.

A very, very sympathic guide, who knows all the secrets of the places and itinerarys the most beautiful ; organization top ; food excellent too ; marvellous souvenirs.
