Day Hike Near Portland, Oregon: Tom Dick and Harry Mountain

Located in the Cascade mountain range in the state of Oregon, the Tom Dick and Harry Mountain (1,544m) is a glorious peak to behold. And on this full day hiking adventure, you will get to trek around the great peak, while also admiring the gorgeous natural area surrounding it.

Stretching approximately 10 kilometers, the trail we will hike on is perfect for people who love the outdoors. Steep at points, the trail will take you through some beautiful, dense forest. The trail will also take you to Mirror Lake, and on clear days you will get to gaze at the reflection of Mount Hood (3,429m) on the lake’s surface.

While the day trek is fantastic throughout the day, it is especially spectacular during sunset, near the day’s conclusion.

Less than 90 kilometers away from the lovely city of Portland, the Tom Dick and Harry Mountain is well within reach of a great city that you can base your trip out of.

While not excessively difficult, it is still important that participants on this trip are in good enough physical condition to keep up the pace.
